Problem: My HU is causing my battery to drain(checked with a multimeter) Pioneer Premiere 600UB

Question: Can i connect the 12v constant wire and Acc wire together from my wiring harness to the Vehicle's 12v Acc wire? will that work/stop the problem?...and do i have to keep resetting my HU settings everytime i turn on car.

....any other suggestions?

It shouldn't be draining power, if it is, then you have either a weak battery or a problem with the HU, one needs to be replaced.
