heading to best buy to buy EVERYTHING lol...but got a question

tuesday im heading to best buy to go buy my epuipment

only reason is because my friend works there and the audio discount is crazy good...

i will be picking up the following

alpine ida-x100 for 205

12in dual type r for 105

type r comps set for 131

alpine mrp-m1000 amp for 230

alpine mrp-f250 for 115

a dual 12in slot ported box for 80-100

and a 4gauge RF multiple amp kit for 60-80

my big question is how does the set up sound? (keep in mind i have a type-r 12 already and type-r 6x9s and type-r 6.5s and also 720watt kenwood 4channel amp all already installed)

any suggestions.....also is the 1000 watt alpine am going to be enuff to power the subs?...i read reviews it will cut off after 20-30 mins of hard banging....should i get one for each type-r?

those type Rs will want much more power. The 12 i put in my girlfriends bro's car takes 800RMS all day.

if your set on using that equipment than yes, do 1 amp per type r.

1 type R on that amp (mrd 1000) will be pretty loud in a good ported box. box will mean much more than anything else.

kcd maybe your right about the one type-r......its just i been underpowering my type-r i have for so long i dont feel as tho they are strong...havent heard one really get feed right....
