head unit help!

after jump starting my car, my eclipse cd5030 seems to have been fried and ive been advised to get it repaired. i have yet to contact united radio because im thinking about just saying screw it and buying a nice new one. after doing some research, heres some of my top picks so far. i only have experience with 2 head units (pioneer and eclipse) both which i liked very much.

the local car audio guy told me to wait untill january 24th to buy one because thats when the new ones come out for the year. idk if that applys to crutchfield also. id appreciate any kind of recommendations or any other kind of thoughts. i posted a similar link a few years ago and u guys talked me into buying the eclipse head unit. im glad i did because that thing was amazing. too bad they dont sell them anymore thanks!

i dont want to spend any more then 350 and i just want a head unit that sounds great with bluetooth and usb

alright and If I where to choose from headunits in that class I would get either a kenwood excelon kdcx995 or a alpine cda 117. I will urgue you to buy another used eclpise though they are very good head units.

I really liked the eclipse head unit. Maybe I will look into getting it repaired after all. Alls I know is my car rides are getting very lonely with no music. Thanks guys.
