head unit help

after jump starting my car, my eclipse cd5030 seems to have been fried and ive been advised to get it repaired. i have yet to contact united radio because im thinking about just saying screw it and buying a nice new one. after doing some research, heres some of my top picks so far. i only have experience with 2 head units (pioneer and eclipse) both which i liked very much.

alright and If I where to choose from headunits in that class I would get either a kenwood excelon kdcx995 or a alpine cda 117. I will urgue you to buy another used eclpise though they are very good head units.
