head unit blowing fuse

hi i just bought the alpine cda-7893 any body with this model , is it any good , and since it is a very powerful head unit do i have to do any thing differently when i wired it up to my car , i heard in a review this guys radio kept blowing a fuse for this model , any body have any trouble with this unit and any sugfgestions would be nice thanks

no, you don't have to hook it up differently. The guy who kept on blowing the fuses could have bridged the inputs together...that's a big no no if you want your deck to last. It puts too much strain on the amplifier. He could have had a loose wire or something that made the fuse blow.

Just hook up the hu like any other.
