Head unit, android auto with decent controls

So currently I am driving a 2007 Scion TC which just has the stock radio and I am looking to upgrade to a head unit that has android auto. The steering wheel has 5 buttons on it - volume up, volume down, arrow up, arrow down, and the mode select button. How can I ensure that I will still be able to use the steering wheel buttons as controls for the unit? Are there any units that maybe come with a control module for the purpose of non-distracted control of the unit while driving, like modern cars have stock with steering wheel controls or something similar?

I have a thread with 3 different head units capable of all those features. They are also capable of 3 way active capabilities. There is no head unit that will work in your car without a steering wheel control adapter. You’re going to have to buy an adapter or steal one.
