my deal? i was merely stating that if you want the best quality pic your going to spend more than 1300 for that size lcd. of course you can get a cheaper quality lcd for less than that. but if you get a horrible refresh rate and bad contrast ratio whats the point?
me personally i'm a fan of samsung lcd's.

Samsung 320P 32" LCD:

Resolution: 1366x768

Brightness: 450cd/m^2

Contrast ratio: 1000:1

Refresh: 8ms

Hyundai Q321 32" LCD:

Resolution: 1366x768

Brightness: 450cd/m^2

Contrast ratio: 1000:1

Refresh: 8ms

Samsung doesn't have HDMI, Hyundai does

Newegg prices: Samsung is $1,435.99, Hyundai is $799.99 after $50 rebate

Somehow during my viewing tests, I missed how the Samsung is $600 better.

While they don't look terrible, they definitely are sub-par compared to other LCD HDTVs ...

good to know, i was considering picking one up... what makes them sub-par?

not that it is a major thing that needs to be looked at but comon man, my 19" monitor almost has that, lmfao.

Samsung LN-S3241, you should be able to find one in the range ur looking for..

I would say save a few bucks and go with the LN-S3251 tho.

Nice TV, good price - my only problems would be the gigantic bezel and lack of DVI input.

I can only give recommendations on what I have/have seen, and the S3241 isn't one of those, but on paper at least it looks like a great TV.

the sammy LCDs are very nice, prolly the best ones out there right now...havent looked @ the pannys or pio
