yes amps are on the box, but they will stay there. i have yet to experience any problems from mounting amps on boxes.well i thought i saw your amp mounted on your box if so i would think about remounting it somewhere better are your have that amp in the shop soon. i know ive had 3 in a row in the shop cuz of mounting on the box.
Ive seen some amps have problems and some without. If I mount one on a box I use a 1/2" piece of rubber under mounting feet. Helps with vibrations and allows air under amp.yes amps are on the box, but they will stay there. i have yet to experience any problems from mounting amps on boxes.
if your box doenst flex, i see no danger.
edit: wow, that sounded rude. lol didnt mean to come off as a dick. the internet is hard to get a tone of voice across.
honestly, the kicker amp and rockford amp just will not both fit on the back seat, even at the top, i just cant get them to fit right. the box is the only place to go for me since i can put one on the side and one in the back. as long as its firmly mounted, which it is, i dont see it vibrating much at all. i remember when i first decided to start mounting amps on boxes i was nervous they would get damaged, but i have yet to experience any problems.Ive seen some amps have problems and some without. IMO, the lows are just about as strong as the btl. the btl does have a bigger edge in the last box it was in versus the box the hdc is currently in.
in the same exact box, the lows were even closure to being equal.

honestly these subs are pretty efficient IMO. not SI mag efficient, but still pretty good. i would probably go for 2k each. Thanks for the info, I was just wondering if a Sundown 1500d would be sufficent power to run one or should I invest in a pair strapped to each sub.
