hdc315 d2 copper coils back in stock

DJ, before I order my SDC12s within a few weeks here, upgrade the suspension... please?
The SDC2.5 series doesn't need an upgrade. The one in there works great. It's rated for 600 rms and most people are running 800-1000 on it. The SDC has a 2.5" coil and throwng more power at it will make the magic smoke come out.

The copper coil HDC is rated at 1000 rms and most people, at least on this forum, run 2-3 times the rated power so I thought I would "beef" up the suspension system to better handle the added ABUSE.

We have made several "mods" to the present design and it holds up very well but we wanted to do some things that can only be done by hand building and we don't want to share with our Chinese partners or the AQ "knockoffs". They can do their own R&D.

so there is no change at all to the aluminum models, correct?

None that you would notice

I am doing the in car field testing on the 12'' prototypes now. Testing with AQ2200D and the AQ3500D per sub. Maybe strap a couple of AQ3500D's per sub for the final testing.
Nice! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

Only time i abuse your crap is when im ready to do changes to my system or changing coils out.

Let teh clipping begin. Not telling people to crank your gains but it took a long time to get the copper coils to fail. no smoke, just glue failer. Goods coils there dj. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Zinc also conducts fairly well. I use zinc nuts and bolts on the terminal cups I build into my boxes.

Link to antenna. I'm guessing the copper foil should be connected to glass, not metal, but lets see the antenna. Did it come with instructions?
