HDC3 noise?

ok after reading some info i think i should tune this thing alot lower. i am tuned to 34hz right now and on alot of the songs that i play which are chopped and screwed it sounds like bottoming out to me but im not sure. The box is a chambered t-line which we all know is infamous for poor cone control. Should i get another box? what size and what tune? i am thinking around 3.5 cubes tuned to 28hz???? any help?

You want to tune alot lower than 34hz? For car audio, I wouldn't suggest it.
Why not if you're listening to a lot of stuff with material in the 20hz area?

After driving around for a while now with a sub system that is flat from about 15hz to 70hz, I have really noticed how much musical content is lost when the 20-30hz range is ignored. Many songs from all genres seem to have more of a realism to them and many songs have much more depth.

Is the HDC3 the best sub for that job? Eh, not really but it could work.

Can we get a detailed picture (or 3D model) of your current enclosure?

ok here is the inside of the box

Ok i am running a saz-1500d at half an ohm, gain is set right at the half way point, i have to set the ssf around the half way point as well. Really i want to be able to not have to run a SSF. Now i am i correct that if i tune to say 28hz with a smaller box then i should be able to run no ssf and the sub be able to handle it?

IMMACOMPUTER!!! i know you have experience with this sub and like i said i listen to alot of low bass songs. what would you do? change the box to a plain old ported enclosure? size? and tune in the 20's?

i have been told the box is kinda small, ok what to do? I want to run 1700rms all day everyday and not have to worry about bottoming out, what size box and what tune? i really dont wanna have to run a ssf but i know ill have too but where i am at now my ssf is so high that its starting to decrease my upper bass response!

see thats what i am thinking a smaller box tuned lower will work better for what i listen too, now i dont know how low the songs drop that i listen too but there pretty low. songs like walk it out slowed down. you aint know slowed down they really drop low!
