Well you did just consider him your close friend. Your teams purchased maybe 10g from him. Id say your a valued customer. You hung out with him... of course youd have some pull in it, atleast more then me lol

not a close friend as I've met him one time along with a few other DOA members. You have no idea how much we've spent, so don't speculate. Since when does a "valued customer" make business decisions for the owner???

Again you have NO idea of all the **** that has gone on with him and DOA, AQ, etc... so I wouldn't expect to you realize that it's him taking another personal shot at AQ...

Matt said in a previous post he tried to contact them about it, and they have ignored the email, as he gets communications about other things from them fairly often. I am not going to look back through 500 posts to find it, but you can if you need proof.

I don't care what has gone on, I have read this thread and am referencing this thread. And AQ isn't making brownie points right now, and you guys aren't helping. You should try to see if Jacob will write a book on "graciousness under criticism", it would be a good reference to you and others in this thread.

Valued customer could say, hey man this guy had an idea and was having troubles getting a hold of you... but okay

And I have a great idea how much you spent, I look at yours and DOAs AQ equipment. DJ doesnt cut prices for ANYBODY. so 8 3500s, 4 HDC3s, you personally told everyone you went through atleast 3 sets of recones last season. Lets be honest Mike you are a valued customer to DJ. And Im sure someone who spends that much at anyones company would be listened too. I know if hank contacted Jacob cause you had an idea for a SA modification, but jacob was too busy to get back to your email, good chances are he would listen to hank after the investment Hank made with his company.

1) Can you prove shifted shifted pole is a manufacturing defect and not a shipping issue? If not than that brings you down to one sub.2) Your comparison with the gas peddle is laughable. That type of defect could be fatal. Car audio aint that serious. :laughing: try something like a cup holder breaking and we're in the ball park. And no, the wouldn't do a recall if a few of them broke. They would send out a TSB (technical service bulletin) and fix the ones that came in to the dealership for free. Much like I'm sure DJ would do for any NORMAL customer in this case. That is speculation though. I can't prove that and I'll admit it.

Your "beef" with Matt means what to me or anyone else? You must think he is one seriously powerful guy if you think he could bring down AQ, even if he was trying to. And if he was that influential, I would watch your back, because if he can take AQ down, imagine what he could do to some snotty nose litte brat like you.

Sorry im running 3360x 1050 resoultion so it really made it small and that was after I cut off my other screen side.

Can I prove it wasnt shifted in shipping... no I can go off the fact that the guy had the original boxes at his house, not dinged up or anything, and there is no noticble nicks or scraps tot he motor. Do you know the amount of force it takes to push the top plate off from the slugs when it is magnetized and loctite 7471 is applied? only way to space it from the magnet it was glued to at all without showing marks is by super long bolts and prying off the top plate with a heavy duty ratchet or torque bar. The fact that the sub was factory glued based on the "cleaner" glue job and I take his word for it as he has no reason to lie, leaves me to beleive it just simply was not centered right.

And a broken cup holder doesnt effect the main purpose of the object. Flux compression has a direct effect on the product not performing to its build. Maybe if we want to stick to cars and level on a even playing ground, is one of its fuel injectors is not consistent with the rest. It performs but not to what it should.... is that better? sorry best I could think of?

Perhaps an injector is a better analogy. Still though, the same thing would apply. A TSB would be issued if it only happened a few times. And the company would keep a better eye on the manufacturing process.
