Well guy's after much email's back and forth with Dj from AQ (also before i go further DJ is a great guy and responsds very quick to email AQ has great customer service). But with that said i will be doing an enclosure of 6cubes 38hz with 2 6" aero's (external) 13"long.

now when you say 6" aeros do you mean its 6in from one side to the other of it if so where the Hell do you buy them from

oh guy's see so i was right i didn't think that was enough. but can someone give me a good enclosure just like round off. my questions are.
How much power can these HDC3 18's really take w/o clipn or blown?

do 4 4" ports or two 6" ports

Subwoofers don't clip. Amps do. As long as your giving the subwoofer "clean" unclipped power, they can usually handle a decent amount over RMS. I'm not suggesting it... but they can.

What kind of amp are you running to it?

Haha true man that was dumb of me for sayn I didn't catch that b4 lol. As for the amp ill b running idk yet I don't have one yet to run to it but I'm thinkn between a nice orion amp , directed 2500d , AQ 2200d , ia 20.1. Those are the ones I been thinkn bout

look as the Hifonics Brutus 2608 i think it is i have the 1608 i have my gains turned up a little dude you have no idea how loud it gets in my car im waiting for my rear view mirror to fall off lol and the loudest ive turned my headunit up to is 18 out of 40

hahahha nice man. Im thinkn a AQ 2200D or two sundown 1500d's but im not to sure just yet. Just throwing idea's around in my head. I gotta get a box plan first , then save up for amp/amps

2200D would work nicely as would strapped 1500D's like I run. I have 3k per sub with copper coils and they never get stinky. Of course I don't drive around on full tilt for hours at a time. Usually 5-10 minute demo's is enough to make my ears hurt.

With clean power the HDC's are rather tough subs and can take a beating...
