Thought id post in the right section for this guy's. Would this be good for running a HDC3 18" AQ sub. This setup will also be in a 1993 ford explorer.

run around 4 cubic feet after displacement of everything for just one and give it at least 2000 watts rms.

Please tell me im not best with building boxes. I was also thinkn 2 6 inch aero's or should i do 4 4inch aero's? This setup will be for daily/comp use also:D.

oh guy's see so i was right i didn't think that was enough. but can someone give me a good enclosure just like round off. my questions are.

How much power can these HDC3 18's really take w/o clipn or blown?

do 4 4" ports or two 6" ports

i'll say slot, im an aero fan, but 4 6" aero's in 6 cubes net means 27" long ports.

lol or you could use a single 10" sonotube for a port, would be 14.75" long

or a single 12" sonotube for a port, would be 23" long

i would still just go with whatever DJ says, as he designed the subs n all, but a single 12" port would still be cool as shit lol

and a single 12" has the same area as 4-6"

Yeah 2003 i will agree with that Dj has been answering all my question's very nicely & information is great from em like explains it good. Also is very quick with email resposnses:D. AQ FTMFW:D
