yeah, after setting the gains properly, time after time..they still got warm..i gave it two weeks to break in, but still got warm. and i just bought a 2500d..so theres no way it could run on that.

at 140hz i dont think it will be that good..but i had one of mine at 40hz and the sound quality was pretty good but i didnt like it as much as mine now tuned to 33

Most of the Resonace drivers like boxes that are tuned high. With their stiff suspension thats also the best way to get them to play low as well...tune it @ 40, and let the driver unload to get low //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i think i was going to pick up a HD3 sooner or later...just so happens i came across this DD for a price i couldn't refuse, like i said, even cheaper than a AQ...

but yeah, otherwise i agree with many people that value wise, an AQ sub is incredibly hard to beat if even comes close...

yeah, its a bit louder off the same wattage as the BL the AQ is a bit better too.

what is the REAL differance between the HD315, and the 9515?

im glad to see someone trying SQ. my Spl set up is about to be traded in for an SQ. 2 15's ,downsized to 12's but still on my 6500 xxx. It'll be nice to hear a 35 hz note at 145+.HEHE
