Well, the BL didnt handle the XD1800 too well.. it got so hot, so fast, so i decided to go with the HD3, Its huge compared to the BL. Ill be putting a 2500d on it this weekend.

Its in 3.8 cubes at 34hz at the moment, might tune it up to 40hz depending on what ill see SQ wise. As for now, its pretty **** loud. Can't wait to get that

2500d put on it.

i have a ford explorer and when experimenting with box variations i got the loudest with port and sub back. even to the ear facing back is significantly louder than up. just thought you should know that for future boxes.

pdtran..its running off an american bass xd 1800 off bone stock electrical at 14.4 volts. I have minimal dimming at the moment. I've been told that the orion 2500 will be ran fine off the big three changfed to 0 gauge and maybe another battery. Ive gota big stock alt. too is an 96 exploder with a 130a alt.

psturmer, hm thats funny, i had my last box sub back and its significantly louder. I asked around before i had the box built from other exploder owners and they say sub up port back ftw..

about 1800 at 14.4 volts..when pushed hard for a good 15 mins, it was pretty hot to the touch. nothing burning..but i didnt wanna do it any damage
