HCCA D5000 help

I have recently bought an Orion HCCA D5000 to power my 18" Fully Loaded Fi BTL running all 0 gauge wire with an Optima Yellow top D34 and I am having some trouble. All of my amp settings are set to the minimum and I cant turn the volume up halfway without the amp going into protect mode. I also know that the voltage is only dropping the slightest bit. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need more to back up 2500 watts. I would recommend a G31 in the back with that optima up front. Have you done the big 3? DO you have bass boost on?

Should I just put a duralast that I have laying around up front and put the optima in the back? And no, I havent done the big 3 but I will within the next week and bass boost is off. If I do this should I be able to push 2500w?
