Having my Amps mounted on the Fold down Seats. How would that affect Sound when seats

I see. Will watch a vid on youtube almost appears the dustcap isn't needed for the speaker to function ?

I know people who have ran a sub without it, but it makes a weird noise and you can get crap in the motor gap (which is bad).

The dust cap also helps with cooling, because the top of the coil is sealed. That way, air can be forced in and out of the pole piece when the soft parts move.
