I'm thinking of doing 2-4 8"s in the wifes new Q5. I'l be doing the CT Meso on a CT 3k.

4 SA-8v.2 with SPL coils & 3 hard spiders box was 2c/f tuned to 40hz with a 5" octoport.

I had a set of dd 608 reds, in 1.68 net, at 30hrtz, had wonderful depth, kind of lacking on output but they got hella low. I would post pics, but they are long gone.

Have a behind the seat enclosure (1977 C10) with 4 6.5" Tang Band W6 1139si woofers. ported at 35 hz. will grab a pic and add

If I remember correctly it was CSCStang that built the enclosure. I am very satisfied with the product. The woofers will be run in 2 ohm stereo, 2 4ohm in parallel on 2 channels. The TB is more like a 7" so should do well and I feel fits this thread. Not hooked up yet, but I have high hopes for nice punchy output. Enclosure is made from birch and looks so good I'm hesitant to upholster it lol.

Had a pair of SPL Audio 8s (was told they were rebuilt Sundown SA 8s) in a 4th as a temp setup between builds this summer for a few months. By far the most SQ-oriented substage I've ever heard, it sounded awesome.
