any CDT's worth taking a look at?

can anyone comment on any of these? or any other speakers worth looking at, i can give 200rms per side at 4ohms and 400per side @ 2ohms, i like the pro's because they let me run the amp at 3ohms for about 300rms, i had the pros in my blazer and liked them, i just like trying out different stuff

i have the BA pro50's in the rear of my car, they whale not too much dif from the 60's...my little sister has 2 pair of those diamonds, and they are very nice...

I absolutely love the way the kicker ss sounds. I had a set of the SS56.2 and the ssmb6 in my truck and they sounded wonderful. Play loud and clean. I also have 250 watts rms on each side and they sounded wonderful. Out of you list I would recommend those. Probably the best midbass out of all you listed.

The only ones that I have heard out of the listed options are the Diamonds and I think they sound pretty freggin good.

If I might offer a suggestion, however ~ if you ultimately decide to go with the Diamonds look for a set of S600S rather than the S600A.

They are a bit more difficult to source but the silk tweeter sounds worlds better than the aluminum to my ears.

but the aluminum will probably be louder, i knew they had 2 versions, i just grabbed one, i dont need a tweet that will play sooper smooth and detailed that much, i like the way my PRo's sounded, i might just pick up that set again, but the kickers did get my attention(although only 125rms, how much can they usually take daily?), why does no one use the kickers or diamonds much on here? Rainbow taken over?

i heard the hex and the polyglass at my local shop in some cars that had em in. both were in stock locations. hex's had 150 watts on em and they sounded decent. not much more of an improvement from my d3's at the time and they were definitely lacking midbass. for the price, i dont think they are worth it. the polyglass was real detailed, but very harsh. he was running them with an audison.. forget which model. i didnt really like the sound reproduction of that focal set.

Why did no one mention the CDT ES or HD series? Both of those are comparable to the products he listed.

Heard the Diamond's and the Pro60s earlier today. There really wasn't a comparison. Pro60s were amazing, much more defined and fuller sounding. Midbass was awesome for a door speaker. I'm planning on picking up a set real soon.

i have boston pro60s only running off head unit now because my JL was DOA but they are pretty much extremely loud for only being off my headunit...everyone asks me if theyre amped...also you can put 200rms easily on them and they will eat it up...
