we got about 3-4 inches about 2-3 days ago then last night about 1200 it started raining and then it stopped today about 1000 turned in to sleet now weer getting snow and the temp dropped to like 25 . looks like drifting time since im driving my moms car till i get mine fixed i cant do it in my big old 4000lb fwd Cadillac . my moms car is a 1995 Mazda protege fwd it slides around corners real nice .

had a kid from panama in my classes freshman year, he had never seen snow. first snowfall he asked us how you walk through it. he had no clue if you had to swim like in water or what. we told him the easiest thing to do when you go outside is to sprint out the door instead of walking

Maybe you guys who get snow can explain how you don't get trapped in your house? I would imagine if I got an 8-12" drop I wouldn't be able to open my door. Do you guys clear the doorway every hour or so?

When I was a kid my family and I used to go to the Sierra mountains all the time. Occasionally we will get snow on the lower mountains in my city (about 1,500 feet high). Once about every 20 years we will get snow at sea level here.
