Have any of you guys never physically seen snow?

Love the stuff and don't get enough of it here in SE mass, seems we are ALWAYS on the snow/mix line and end up getting a slushy icy 1" accumulation mix of crap lol. We had about 1-2" on sunday though and surprisingly a bit of its still there.

Dad has a house bout 5 minutes north of Caribou, ME tons o snow and right on the trails for sledding. Honestly wish it would snow more down here and slow everyone down for a little while.

jdc753, caribou is snow heaven! they have the ITS trails up there, basically highways for snowmobiles that are like 20-30 feet wide right? i've never done any trail riding up there.

i've seen pix with snowbanks 15 feet tall and people standing on them and its like they are dwarfs

I am from VERY Southeast Louisiana. We had some a few years ago. Let me tell you, I thought the way the trees looked silver and white from the snow and ice was absolutely beautiful. The best part is that it was on Christmas morning. I think about 3-4 years ago.

buy a real car.....

you don't need the e-brake

especially in the snow:rolleyes:
I lol'ed

You don't know what you're missing:crazy:

Yes they do, its amazing. Trails of all kinds, railbeds, closed roads fields, woods, mountains, logging roads and lakes.

One of the railbeds, bout 15-20' wide and all sweeping corners 80-100mph for miles.

Gotta loved the seasonally closed roads too

Really looking forward to getting up there again this year.

Dad likes to see how many miles he can rack up in a day, its kinda his thing to do lol. He will usually average 300-330 miles per day and one time solo riding he did about 400 miles.

Yup thats what we do. Takes about 6.5-8 hours (depending on how legal ya drive) to get there from our house in Mass. We take 95 all the way to Houlton where it makes a sharp right into Canada and then we take Rt1 north for about an hour.

if you want to save 15 minutes or so and some miles and a bit on tolls take i-295 right above portland i think its exit 42 or something, it connects back up with i-95 51 miles to the north in my town of Gardiner, from there its back onto i-95 at mile marker 103 or something, and i know houlton is way up there, farthest north i've gone is lincoln for a quick lay //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif 2 hour drive for poon from a girl i never met LMAO. what exit # is it? 200-something?

going to Quebec? Take some time to visit the Quebec City 2,5 hours northest of Montreal. People from all around the world says that it's one the most beautiful place to go...

You are going north to see snow and in few days i'll be going south to flee snow //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

on top of this all guys, how about you ladies who have never had a snow day away from school! we get 5 snow days a year, i'm sure upstate ny and the great lakes region uses way more than that from lake effect snow... but yes waking up to snow during the school year means mini vacation and time to play all day //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yea I think my dad does that, he has made the trip so many times he knows it like the back of his hand. Made the trip in about 6.5 hours one time I think. Exit 302

Would be nice for sure, wish I could get up there more. My dad has gone over into New Brunswick quite a few times and I think has talked about going into Quebec all by sled.

Can only run away from the snow for a short time, its too boring without it lol.
