hatchback box?

my other car was totalled, now got another civic hatch. I had 2 L7 15's downfiring in my backseat in other civic coupe. It was plenty loud but i had already sold it all when i got this car. I drive car daily and probably wont compete unless at local show. I either want to run 2 15's again or possible 4. Question is, would they be louder in the hatch facing up or back, or walled off to the front? thanks

firing up with precision ports facing the back....some of the loudest set-ups i've seen in civic hatches.

thanks. i know im going with a crossfire vr4000d or vr2000d, depending on subs. Either 2 crossfire xt215 or 4 L7 15's.
