They are one of the vendors that sells electronic items on ebay. I purchased an Alpine 9887 from them which I had a problem with and had to send back for a replacement. I purchased the HU brand new, but the preamp outputs went dead with less than 2 hours of playing time. According to UPS tracking info, the vendor has had the returned itme for a week now, but they still haven't sent out the replacement HU. I contacted them and they said the HU was turned over to their returns department and when they hear from them, they'll be able to give me updated info. I have done everything they require for returns (i.e. included a money order for the $25 restocking fee, included a letter explaining what's wrong with the HU, made sure the HU was packaged correctly and all the included items were sent back with the HU, etc.), but still they seem to be dragging their feet on this. I can't think of a single reason why they still haven't sent out my replacement after they've had the returned item for a week. Have any of you had any dealings with this place and if so, what was your experience like? It sounds to me like they're intentionally dragging this thing out much longer than necessary. Do I have any recourse?
