Has anyone checked out circuit city???

i just stopped by to a local circuit city that is closing cuz a friend said they had some good deals, and i walked out of there with a kicker 750.1 for $200!!!! They are so desperate to sell crap that you can easily haggle with them and i cant believe i actually got that deal. Everything in car audio is 50% off so i guess they are technically in normal price ranges now, but the 50%, ability to haggle, and no shipping charges makes for a pretty good deal. Just thought id share my expirience.

I went 2 weeks ago and the prices on the TV's were still rediculously high, and all the CA stuff was gone except for dash kits and obscure wiring harnesses

Yeah, thats the same as when I went. I have seen posts on craigslist here saying I was a former circuit city employee and got these new amps cheap so I can sell to you, blah blah.. lol

Wow, my local CC doesn't sell anything more than L5's and 750.1's lol

Not much left at my stores in the area. anything that was marked 40% off was still pirced kind of high. I did grab the last set of Pole DB 651s for $59 bucks though. I wish they had the 6501s to go with them.

It also depends on the store.. My friend is a manager at a local CC and he told me everything is pretty much gone. They shipped out over $300,000 of merchandise last week, and the only thing left is **** no one ever buys. They're even selling the display racks and shelves.
