has anybody tried an SPL-15 before????

has anybody ever tried an SPL adio 15 i dont know what its called but its the highest series that SPL makes i think its 2800 watts max, the reason i ask this is my friend has bought this sub and think that heis gonna be shutting me and my other friend down, imgonna be having the tumult and more than likely a nine.1 amp by edesigns my other friend has a 12 brahma that he is gonna send back and get reconed he has the mtx81000d and them the friend that says he gonna shut us both dow is the dude with the SPL-15 with probably mtx 81000d, is it likely even possible for him to shut us down??

oh yeah by they way the tumult will be ported the brahma will be ported and then the SPL-15 is probably gonna be sealed

It depends. I think everyone knows what these subs can do. However set-up maybe the judging factor. The ported set-ups will probably knock his johnson in the dirt.

well he says he's just gonna blow us away but i domt think so either, but he said he was gonna go ported but i dont think he knows hardly anything about box building, he wants to shut everybody down but he gets him a sub and thats it he dont have a cd player, reg speakers, an amp oraything else, he just takes it down to my friends house with the mtx81000d and trys it out there, he hadnt tested that SPL sub yet

Your friend is not to bright. That sub was built for SPL. Unless he plans on burping it which he will need more than that MTX, his system will more than likely sound like shit. When it comes time to battle, you probably won't have to use much power to send him home with his tail between his legs.

I think my 81000d would rip him a new one if he hooked it up to my amp.
