I'd be interested to know how many of these naysayers have actually seen it though.

I watched a half hour of the first movie. Saw nothing special and didn't care to learn more.

Twilight is the worse pos movie that actually has fans...ever. Even FnF is better.

I've seen enough Harry Potter movie to know that when i do watch this one my expectations will be low. So then perhaps it would be good.

Well you probably won't like it if you haven't seen the previous one's you will be lost.

The only major negative opinions I've heard of it are those who haven't seen the previous films. Or comments referring to the fact that without seeing previous films the movie would make no sense whatsoever.

But i was also like 10 or 11 when I read the first book and then started watching the movies. They seem to have been geared for progressively older audiences and the actors have followed my age group. So i guess you could say it's been easy for me to get interested in the series.

Yeah i'm glad. I'll actually hate for the story to end. I was like that with star wars too. They'll always make knockoffs and low budget versions made into tv series but the original luster somehow dies. after having the original star wars trilogy the remakes and added scenes just came across as out of place and annoying. The knockoffs seem to be an attempt to capitalize for a year or too on the original's popularity, they never last.

I hate how the last book jumped straight to 19 years later, but I guess she could write more that could deal with the time period in between but I doubt it.
