Just some unrelated info I know... his family is fairly wealthy. His brother, who you've probably seen on the show, owns 'Wolfe Construction' here in town, I see him driving around in one of his work trucks once in a while. Mike, even before the show, has had (family) money, owns several buildings around town, and use to make his living via a bicycle shop. This is why he's always so interested in old bikes on the show. I think he's into motorcycles only because it makes him look a little less girly. He'd probably rather drive a scooter around town than a Harley.

No, Ive never met Mike. I didnt even know he dated my step sister until years later. He is notorious for having (much) younger girlfriends. Stealing? Ive heard this argument before about the show, I find it hollow. Nobody is being robbed, each and every one of them agree to the price offered. If they think they can sit in their house, and have someone simply knock on their door and offer them full retail price (Mike and Frank own a retail antique store where they sell these items), then they are insane. Some people just have no perspective on reality, the people in that thread are some of those people.

What I do dislike about the show is how many times what it shows as the 'value' of the item is simply what Mike or Frank claims they will some day sell it for.

I also find the show to be obviously scripted, at least some what. When's the last time you saw an episode where they 'cold called' some house, knocked on the door, and anyone even asked 'why are there tv cameras in my yard?'...? Never. Clearly the camera crew goes in first, and explains the premise of the show. Then Mike and Frank knock on the door, and everyone pretends its the first meeting.

I'm not a fan of op-repo or anything else besides hardcore pawn. The only other thing I watch is Most Daring and shows like that, usually for background noise. But anyways, I've seen people act the same way in real life as they do on Hardcore Pawn.

They also have 4+ repo shows now. I watch HCP sometimes. Op-repo is good there is just way to many commercials. I also like Lizard Licks Towing. I do prefer Pawn Stars over HCP.

operation repo has to be the the worst...most fake....bullshit show on TV
