ya you gotta remember its tv... they have to shorten things, make it faster/easier to fill a 30min time slot. and if you think hardcore pawn is just people acting up then you havent been around real ghetto *** people. THey are loud, demanding and act stupid. But im sure some of them do indeed do some for show. I like them all, i like pickers too. We got married in vegas last year and altho i didnt make it to PS, my friends did and they said chumlee was strolling around when they were there.

Speaking of Pickers, its based of out my area. Its well known locally that last year they signed a new contract with the History Channel for 20 million dollars. My step sister dated Mike Wolf for a while. He has a few skeletons in his closet, let me tell you.

I disagree, its the new American Dream. Act like an idiot on TV, become rich and famous. Jersey Shore, Real World, Teen Mom, John and Kate Gosselin, Real Housewives, American Chopper, etc. All filled with morons, acting like morons, living in a choreographed environment we call 'real', and getting rich as thieves off of it. Did you know Chumlee drives a Range Rover and a Maserati?
And we wonder why people from other countries think the U.S. is just filled with fat, obnoxious, unintelligent people.

You watch the crappy American Top Gear..and from your last statement it would look like you watch BBC's Top Gear as well..which is so much better haha.

I dont watch either version of the show regularly. I watch the american version when nothing better is on, and Ive only seen the british version on youtube. The American version is a complete joke.

I agree the American and Australian versions are not worth watching. If you get BBC America watch that version (the original) great show for the most part. They have some of the older seasons on netflix as well. That is about the only show I watch these days and I have put it on my DVR to do that as I never have time to watch it.

I admire the editing crew at BBC. The short videos they do for Top Gear are very well put together with some great editing.

It is, unless the girls/women(which ever) are down for it. I have had many of interesting stories start out with a few drinks and well you get the rest.

I just have a hard time sitting through a whole episode of the american top gear. I don't mind Tanner, but that may because I actually know him and how he is in the show is really him(or I could just be biased for his benefit haha). The other two...blah *****.
