Still, Blondie was the first to top the charts in '81.lol. Crazy, but true. Rap started in the 60's, but did't get rolling until the 70's. While there are a few raps I like, by and large, I don't care for it. I am into metal, rock, some industrial *****. Rap is older than us though.

I suppose the only music whites, ethnically speaking, could lay claim to is classical. I won't pretend to understand all the socio idiosyncrasies involved with the evolution of popular music and the influences of black artist. I would think dare to say that they are far reaching and appreciated by many. As lude as this thread has become, I think we are in a roundabout way expressing our appreciation for their contributions. It's just, well, we are a bunch of @$$h0les, and this is how we do it.lol
