Just the fact that we have black history month is racist IMO. The best way to make everyone equal is for everyone to be equal. No race needs a month. Imagine if we had a white history month. You think that'd go over well?

I have nothing but contempt for people who constantly have to be "victims" of something. It's the attitude of a child, it negates any sense of personal responsibility and breeds dependency.

The vast majority of blacks today live in Plantation 2.0 and don't even realize it.

Actually in college, there was a history class called African American history and it was worth the same credits as any other history class.

Theres also no Malcom X day either and he fought for the same thing as MLK and arguably made a larger statement.

If you want to go that route why dont you teach that white people were slaves in Africa far before blacks were slaves in America? You dont see us white people bitching about a month. The attitude that African Americans have regarding history and that white people owe them something pidgeon holes them into the exact stereotype they are currently stuck in.

Also as a warning this thread is very borderline against the rules. Keep it classy or I will have no choice but to remove it.

It Is In schools ? They make everyone find a famous black person and write about the history of them.
