H/U Problem!

ok so i just finished my new box and i went to replace my h/u with one that has aux. just to test the sub before i get a new ride. i got it all hooked up and i turned it on and all i get is a blank blue screen, with no sound or anything and as soon as any button is pushed, it turns off. can anybody please tell me whats going on!?

did you hook it up correctly? lol. some headunits have a reset button you need to press before you can use it, my alpine does that.

underneath the faceplate, it says reset between two buttons.. i tried all kinds of variations of hitting these buttons lol.. im just out of ideas. it worked fine when i took it out
