It worked just like a changer which was the main reason for the AiNet in the first place. It wasn't meant to work through the AUX IN.

I didn't mean an actual aux. input on the h/u......some are set up to accept an aux. via the Ai-net cable, the 7845 does not.

You can do AiNet to female RCA's and then RCA's to 3.5mm jack as well.

I might grab one of these just to try, but I don't think it'll work. Those units all have optional aux. inputs. the 7845 does not.

I did that, but only got sound out of the right side.

The 3.5mm jack is to small for the iPod thats what causes one side to work and the other not. Grab a RCA to 3.5mm from monoprice. The premium set. I had one and it worked well until I dropped it.
