If you pulled the remote wire out of the amp (not just out of the HU) then you have a malfunctioning remote relay in the amp. Needs repair.

You amp obviously has a problem, i would not be using it as it might only get worse an end up messing up some of your equipment, not to mention deep cycling a battery is never a good idea.

Should be a simple fix for anyone who fixes amps or has good electrical skills. YOu could assemble an external remote relay, but I would rather just get it fixed and have it work correctly.

god idk why people give hifonics shit. sorry im not paying 600$ or more for same fvking thing. this amp has had no problems when it was nice out, and its played to the max whenever im driving, (hour or more a day) and it never gets warm. plus i have stock electrical i dont even have the big 3 anymore.

How do you downgrade from the big 3? lol

you can get a 80 amp solonoid and wire it into the ground wire. then connect the rem to it. It will disconnect the amps ground with the rem. Very ghettobama, but its a doable work around for about $20.
