True, but then that will lead to more dead criminals. If they intentionally try to rob someone from thier bullets, then the owner most likely will have a gun and kill them legally. So it ballances out. Most criminals dont think anyways, so they probly wont even think about it.
The average gun owner doesn't own a gun with the hope of being able to go commando on an intruder. The last thing I want is someone with a gun having ANOTHER reason to break into my house.

So now gangsters will have to steal the bullets from stores or break into people's homes to steal bulles.
This is one of the reasons I voted no. Criminals are going to get the bullets one way or another, same way their getting guns. Only now whoever they stole the bullets from is going to get blamed for the shooting or murder they did. They keep adding laws against the law abiding citizens. The criminals don't follow the laws so it doesn't affect them. Same way they wanted to take all our guns. Who's guns were they gonna take? The law abiding citizens guns. All the criminals are still going to have their guns, without the worry of getting shot if they break into someones home. Which would leave us defenseless and at the mercy of the criminals so to speak. I don't know about your area, but around here all the cops do is write tickets and act like they own the town. As for relying on them, someone down the street came home and called to report that a burglar was in their house a few years back. It took them an hour to respond to the call and get to their house.

That's just going too far, coded bullets? C'mon..........
As a saying goes, when guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.
As another saying goes, guns don't kill people, bullets kill people.

I guess the government decided to go after the bullets.

Someone please invent a phaser...LOL!

Rick
phasers will be the shit.

Gun crimes are getting out of control they cant just let this keep going on
Taking away freedoms my ***, this doesnt hurt anyone except criminals
gun crime being committed by CRIMINALS are getting out of hand. Anything law puts restrictions on anything only affects those who actually follow laws, this does not include criminals.

But honestly, what criminal is going to break into a house to look for bullets?

First and foremost, you can't guarantee a random house will be the house of a gun owner.

Also, bullets/guns are not exactly the simplest things to find. Typically they're hidden, away from children and guests.

Breaking in to steal jewelry/money/valuables is simple. I walk straight into your bedroom and start looking. Bullets aren't going to be found as easily.

How does it affect people that actually follow laws?

If they were smart enough to steal your bullets, then they wouldn't shoot you so dont worry.

after 2011 there will be alot of crack heads at the station........"well some guy offerd me $20 to go in wallmart and buy him some bullets" lol ...........but i did vote yes because it want effect me and maybe itll help catch a few murderers!!!!!

I break into your house, steal your bullets, and kill somebody. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Or better yet, I knock you on your *** walking out of Gander Mountain, and take off with your registered bullets.

Then I sell them to my hood friends, who commit 12 murders with bullets that have your name on them.

x2

Some years back it was ruled that a citizen had no constitutional right to police protection. Since that is the legal ruling, it only follows that a citizen has the right to defend themself. Adding laws that do little for the rights of the citizens and do little to handicap the criminals isn't a Good Idea.

Because, only law abiding citizens follow the rules. Criminals wont be affected by these same laws.

Example: Criminals dont have concealed carry licenses.....but they still carry guns.

A bunch of people on here post about hey cant wait to turn 21, so they can get theirs, but until then they probly arent carrying.

see the difference?

Maybe this law will also make people be more careful with their bullets?

I dont own any guns or dont plan to but if I did I would lock up the ammo

It seems like it will help a little though and it wont make any really make a difference for people following the laws
