starting to e-foam the spare tire cavity to 1. deaden it because it's some thin metal. 2. have a base to make a substructure to hold the box in place better.

I was able to find this pic of the rear deck from a few months ago.

metal tape was the first layer, about 4 layers of deadener followed.

yessirr //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. My car does the same thing as yours does when sealed up, but with both windows even cracked it beats down with authority. No problems bottoming out so far, though i only have it on half the power i will in the future..

yeah, i really like street beating with the windows down anyway haha. but i don't have a termlab so i'll have to wait till there's a show around central florida.

Will do sir //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/patriotic.gif.b47a6e0394a3738334c387bdf79409f4.gif. Your trunk work was an inspiration for this beater so i salute you.

And this is a note to everyone else with a trunk: " Seal that shit off from the cabin. No more trunk rattle, very many extra Dee Beez "

Hell i stopped at the gas station tonight, forgot my gas cap on top of my trunk lid, beat shit down on the way home, got out in my yard and realized my cap was sitting right where i left it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/suave.gif.858fc102f7646e678ee8af7e1fbc41d1.gif
