I am going to buy two 12in alpine type r's

I need to know what rms wattage on amp do I need to make the subs hit nicely ? 1200? 1500?

What kind of box i need someone to build me...going in a car like a honda accord or civic?

I second the box and 1200 will do.

1200 would work well... any ported box will work fine, except prefab

I talk to this dude on the phone that hooks up systems he said must amps have like 14 voltage and it will mess up the radiater and stuff in the engine? is this true ?...he said his amps only run like 13volts?

and would this be a good amp?

That guy obviously has NO clue what he is talking about. Don't worry about voltage. And yeah that amp is fine. As far as the box, fill out the quote thingy on his site.

get them in 4ohms and then wire them down to 1 ohm. Thats what i did with 1000 rms and they thump hard. U have to find a 1 ohm stable amp though. I have a MB Quart Raa 1000 and i absolutely love it.

get the bx1605d... they take that power all day.. actually mine sounded liek they couldve had more.. they definately handle plenty of power..

and a tcab will most like run you over 200.. but thats a guess

get two dual 4 ohms type r's and an amp that does 1200+ rms power(the hifonics put out like 200 less than they are rated for so factor that in if you're looking at hifonics.)
