get the most possible amount of cca as you can, wont harm a thing.

ps. Optima's ****, I own 3 of them.....I retired them and put them in my other cars and replaced them with ALphacells for my setup in my jeep.

every autostore said optima no longer has the D51R in stock at their warehouse.
will the D34/78 fit as a replacement? i know its a tough fit but ill be removing the plastic tray and maybe bend the tie down latch a little =\

and i dont know too much about exceeding the CCA/RC on batterys, but the techs at pepboys/autozone said more CCA wouldnt hurt. the d34/78 has 250 more CCA over the D51R...what you guys think?

If it fits...go for it
