and they blow the deka out of the water.. i mean your comparing apples to oranges.. In this case you get what you pay for.. deka is a good value.. but if your looking for one of the best batts in themarket and want to run 2 instead of 4 go with xs

There is no way 4 XS 3100s would run the 2 Warhorse setup I plan to moving to. I'm going to be fine with 8 Dekas, and since I have no experience with XS I can't speak for it, but I can say that there isn't a battery out there (in the same group) that has twice the storage capacity of an Intimidator.

Anyone have any real test to prove that this batt is better then this batt? Cause XS is just flat out expensive and a group buy with them will prob not happen as I don't see you getting a 3100 for anything under $300 shipped and at that price I think most will pass. Just being real...

Nathan has done testing, but I've only seen Kinetik and Shuriken posted. People have been asking for BattCap, Deka and C&Ds to be put up against it, but we haven't seen anything from XS on it yet. If I can find someone with an XS, I'm going to run an 'installed' clamp meter test off 1 batt 3000w against my Deka 9A31. I have a feeling it will debunk this 1 XS will do what 2 of anything else will do.

Any independent test? Not saying Nathan is a liar but I trust no one and he is in the business to sale his product so his test results should be taken with a grain of salt.

Did you watch the test video? You get to see resting voltage-load tester reading-voltage drop and time. As far as not seeing other videos yet, he also posted that he has been extremely busy, and some of the other batteries cases started melted under the 500a load. For legal reasons he is not going to post other companies batteries failing, but if your patient, I am willing to bet more tests will be coming.

Just a little fyi, batteries do not store energy, they create energy through chemical reaction. Thats the difference between a battery and a capacitor and the main reason a battery is so much better (efficiency). Contrary to your belief, I believe 4 XS 3100s would hold up fine (at least for competition usage-daily would depend on altnernator output).

teammate had one warhorse on 4 d3100's and it held voltage up fine...not sure on 2 warhorse's though. Both being ran at full tilt that will need a lot of battery power

You charge the electrolyte in the battery. The electrolyte loses charge during the chemical reaction which creates the energy produced by the battery. Any other questions?

ya there is.. lol you just said you dont know ... 4 d3100 will run 2 warhorses just fine. i have no clue why you would want to run such an ocverpriced powerhungry amp but 4 d3100 would do it
