I don't care what it recovers to, I was merely talking about load. If you have proper charging, in 99% of the cases a battery is a battery is a battery. I understand in some competition avenues, the vehicle must be off for the burp, but once again the recovery voltage is irrelevant. It is the voltage during the draw, and if the battery weakens after use. I use my setup for music as well, so I'm not worried about resting voltage afterwards, I'm worried about having enough charging and storage that my voltage never budges at any point. I play the truck for hours without break at car shows and the like, the fact that a battery can handle a burp is meaningless to me.
