Really, that high?You'll never reach 0. Most likely you'll see between 1 and 4 ohms on a good connection.
From what I've heard the average unibody has the resistance approximately equal to 2 gauge wire. Actual solid box frames have current carrying capacity far exceeding 1/0 wire.all electrical in the vehicle grounds to the battery, thus the ideal ground. For low current applications you can just ground to the frame and let the frame ground back to the battery but for higher amperage it is best to run a ground to the battery up front as there is much less resistance in properly sized wire than there is in the frame.
