Battery And Alternator

Hello,

I currently have an all stock electrical system (03 f150) And was looking into purchasing a new under the hood battery. Leaning towards Kinetik and was wondering if the battery has to be at rated at the same amps or below the amps of my ALT. Thanks

Best battery for the money under the hood is a Batcap 2000 ....and it is fairly lite weight

Best battery for the money under the hood is a Batcap 2000 ....and it is fairly lite weight

Is this the right one? Should i look into as running it as a second battery or should i be fine with putting it as my main. I have no subs atm just components.
