Grounding to the battery

Uh, your battery is already grounded to the frame. Read the Big 3 tutorial. You can upgrade the wire if you so desire.

And fuse as close to the battery as possible (within like a foot or so).

we still don't know the vehicle... As stated before a unibody car is a little different than a full framed vehicle. I have my cars grounded to the frame and one is a unibody, one is a full-frame. Both are working great for me but I have all 1/0 power/grounds and I have a BUNCH of grounds on the cadillac (unibody). On the Bravada, I just did the big 3 and grounded my rear batteries to the frame. I have had NO issues with either vehicle and my voltage has never dropped below 13v even on 5Kw~ but I have a 300A alt. and a pair of trunk batteries.

I would say if you have the wire just run it ot the battery. Then your girlfriend won't feel bad, you won't have to wonder if you have a good ground and you can be done //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Well I had just bought a little junk car. 4 days ago my sister bought that from me because she needs a good car and has less cash. And I decided to buy a 2004 Dodge ram Quad cab...

Subs will be going in a box under the back seat. Amp will be between the two subs. I just need to get my new gear wich is coming from overstock.com

in that case you can just ground to the frame, it is entirely up to you. I don't think there will be any difference with your vehicle and your system...

Until I hit a certain RMS right? I am still trying to follow this RMS thing. I used to think that Watts is what judged things...
