Hey guys. I ordered my alternator from Mech Man today(250 Amps). It will have two 1/0 ground studs. Should I ground both of this grounds to the battery or chassis? Maybe one to the engine block and one to the chassis? Or one to the battery, and one to the chassis. Or one to the engine block, and one to the battery?

The chassis is the closest to ground on. I just whan't to know wich would make a more solid ground.

Dude, that post on the alt, it is the same electrically as the engine block. So running a wire from the engine block to the engine block is kind of pointless.

You should run one to your front battery and one to your rear battery bank. You should also ground all batteries (or banks) to chassis as well.

i'm on it, ooohhh i'm on it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Got ya. So engine block to chassis is good right? Cuz I have made like 3 of those. Lol.

Ok. I will do that.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Or one to rear battery and one to chassis close / on the same place you ground your front battery.
