Connecting 2 subs that are seperated by the ports

so i have 2 type r 12" and i know how the wiring is supposed to be to get the correct ohm load and everything but i just realized that sincei got the box it theres no way to actually run the wires to connect the 2 subs inside the box bc they are seperated by the port, how do i need to go about connecting them? do i need to like cut a hole between the wall to run the wires? thx

terminals for each VC then external jumpers if you want to switch the load on the go otherwise a little hole in the wall inside and seal the hole

if each sub has 2 voice coils then you would use 2 terminal cups per sub. then you can run your wires outside the box to wire it anyway you want.

make a little diagram and post it up lets see what you are trying to do. what are the subs and what load are you looking for?

i got 2 12" Type R DVC 2 ohm subs, and im am trying to achieve an overall ohm load of 2 going to the amp http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2DVC_2-ohm_mono.jpg im going by that diagram but like i said i have no idea how to connect the two subs with that wall dividing them

wire each sub in series separately and to its own "channel" on the amp. it will be the same result

yes I know....but it has 2 + and 2 - terminals?

....wouldnt that make it a 2 channel amp if that were the case? it has one positive and one negative on the amp, which if im correct is a mono block

no. many monoblocks have dual terminals for ease of wiring.
