I was going to suggest some disco songs from Earth, Wind and Fire, but feared I would be bashed. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

what would you consider the BEST song they have ever written......
I mean honestly dude, the lyrics alone make that song amazing.
Aenima is probably what I consider their best, but some of my favorite are that, Hooker With a Penis, Forty-Six and 2, Schism, The Grudge, Parabola, Lateralus, Vicarious, The Pot, there is more but I usually listen to an album at once so the songs run together and I'm not sure which song specifically a few are. Also remember this is really just opinion on both out parts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

"Ahhh, it's gone, it's gone, it's gone...All the shitty shows are gone, all the idiots screaming in the fvcking wind are dead, I love it...leaving nothing but a cool, beautiful serenity called Arizona Bay. That's right, when L.A. falls in the fvcking ocean and is flushed away, all it will leave is Arizona Bay."

-Bill Hicks

Tool's inspiration for Aenema, for those who dont know

sorry slammed. this thread sucks. wayyyy to many to try to even pick one.

i have a lot of rap that i will consider the best, then i listen to another cd and hear a song i love, then i say the same thing.

same with reggae.

same with the old shit (ie jimi, doors)

btw: although i love jimi's version of all along the watch tower...it was a bob dylan cover no? i cant really give him credit for the song if he didnt make it. i do like his rendition though.

I have to agree with "Ignore Me" there are just way too many bad azz songs to make a accurate pick, but if I were to pick a song that I had to listen to every day for the rest of my life would be,

" You Can't Kill Rock & Roll " By Ozzy and Mr. Randy Rhoads //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/bowdown.gif.b85b23b82970bd22fb6b549c3392f016.gif Guitar God.

Overall one badazz song. Lyrics are great and guitar work excellent.

out of that list...

tough between Hendrix and Floyd but in the end I have to go with comfortably numb because its so poignant and relevant to existence itself. It goes a bit beyond just being a "good song".
