what would you consider the BEST song they have ever written......
I mean honestly dude, the lyrics alone make that song amazing.
Aenima is probably what I consider their best, but some of my favorite are that, Hooker With a Penis, Forty-Six and 2, Schism, The Grudge, Parabola, Lateralus, Vicarious, The Pot, there is more but I usually listen to an album at once so the songs run together and I'm not sure which song specifically a few are. sorry slammed. this thread sucks. wayyyy to many to try to even pick one.

i have a lot of rap that i will consider the best, then i listen to another cd and hear a song i love, then i say the same thing.

same with reggae.

same with the old shit (ie jimi, doors)

btw: although i love jimi's version of all along the watch tower...it was a bob dylan cover no? i cant really give him credit for the song if he didnt make it. i do like his rendition though.

 
I have to agree with "Ignore Me" there are just way too many bad azz songs to make a accurate pick, but if I were to pick a song that I had to listen to every day for the rest of my life would be,

Overall one badazz song. Lyrics are great and guitar work excellent.

 
out of that list...

tough between Hendrix and Floyd but in the end I have to go with comfortably numb because its so poignant and relevant to existence itself. It goes a bit beyond just being a "good song".
