Yup, I'd heard that story too...ever see that mans legs? They were f'n tree trunks right down to his ankles....scary.

 
LT is a few years from official status...he will have the rushing record well before he retires (unless he pulls a Barry/Tiki), but I think he'd have it by then anyways.

Barry Sanders then Walter Payton, in that order.

Emmit Smith entered the league 1 year after Barry, broke the record 5 or so after Barry left whereas Barry was on track to break it either the season after he left or the one following that.
