A flag or national anthem is good and all, but thats more symbolic stuff, the list, IMO, should be of people that have made great impacts on our country. A flag and song doesnt really make a big impact.

If it were some random D-Day soldier or the Unknown Soldier at the Lincoln Cemetery (?) that would be all right. I could live with that.

If it were some random slave of the pre-civil war era, I could live with that, but every black person I'd run into would be all edgy. Not that they've ever personally experienced anything like that, just the ones I've met are p*ssies at dealing with the past. (Do Jews get b*tchy when you bring up King Ramses?
