If it were some random D-Day soldier or the Unknown Soldier at the Lincoln Cemetery (?) that would be all right. I could live with that.
If it were some random slave of the pre-civil war era, I could live with that, but every black person I'd run into would be all edgy. Not that they've ever personally experienced anything like that, just the ones I've met are p*ssies at dealing with the past. (Do Jews get b*tchy when you bring up King Ramses? Do Chinese get all flustered over talking about the intercontinental Railroad? Do the Japanese get upset if you mention the "relocation camps" or WWII? Just saying...)
