Hey guys, I figured I would share some teaser picks of one of our big installs going on right now. I will post more picks and explain the vitals of the vehicle/system soon.

Dynamat Xtreme in the doors. All four doors were deadened inside and out. All in all there is over 60 square feet of Dynamat installed so far. Front doors are receiving a pair of XR650-Csi's and the rears are being fitted with JL Coaxials.

Here is a pic of the box in progress. There will be 2 T215D4's inverted mounted up top. On the front angled part there will be a T20001BD and a T8004. Much more body filler will be added, and much more sanding will be done before the interior matching vinyl is applied. We will be adding some cool accent pieces and badges machined out of brushed aluminum and adding LED's.

Back of box before body filler is applied. If you look close, you can see holes cut for the 4 ports that are venting the box. Unfortunately, space was at a premium so we had to design the box a little smaller and tune a few Hz higher than we would have liked. But the customer wanted loud, so we will make sure that happens. Anyways, the box will be 5.25ft^3 net after displacement and tuned to 40Hz, more for SPL purposes than anything. Also, we decided to use round ports to easily change tuning for competitions or otherwise. Notice the spool of Stinger Expert 0/1 AWG wire.

After we are done with the install, the Jeep is being sent for custom paint and receiving 22" rims. Check back for more picks of the AVN/Headrest Screens/Stinger HO alternator/25Farad cap.....etc as they are installed.

it won't sound down right awful if he listens to rap, but it sure isn't sql
Oh alright, I don't know much about tuning I just thought tuning that high, especially in a fiberglass box (which seems a little more permanent than a wood box you can take out and put in for comps), was not good for daily driving. I have alot to learn.

You'd have to understand the customer, and what he listens to, as well as we do. He came to us wanted this thing to turn heads from blocks away. So we felt obliged to help him out with that as best we could with this custom box. Besides RoFo recommends slotted boxes tuned to 38Hz for the T215, so we aren't that far off.

i wouldn't recommend tuning that high. my box had port plugs, for 39 hz. and 32 hz. and the 32 hz. was much better for daily driving. i also noticed when playing music, the 32 hz. was louder to the ear. when i played a 41 hz. test tone with a 39 hz. port tuning, it was simply madness in my jeep //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Besides, we didn't want to sacrifice a ton of net volume internally just to tune a couple of Hz lower. We are on a very tight budget as far as space goes. Thats why we used round ports, so we could easily tweak the tuning a little afterwords if we needed

Looking good man... I also would have opted for a larger lower tuned box though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

That's one of my complaints about my grand cherokee........not that much space to work with.I have a single 12 in a t-line/horn hyrbid and honestly, it takes up just about the whole cargo area.In my mountainner, there was a bunch of space left.

But so far it looks nice, I can't wait to see finished pics.Looks like there's going to be lots of sanding done //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

wtf, i had enough space for a ported 18" xxx in mine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Yeah. I would imagine that 5.25ft^3 net, or so, would be enough for an 18" XXX. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
