text to speech will tell you

"turn left on forth street"

non text to speech

"turn left" of "left turn ahead

it helps if you are in a city and you dont know the roads.

that way you can keep your eyes on the road

oooh meh I dont need that, I am always somewhere different and "in .2 miles turn left" "Turn left" always gets me there. I hardly look at my GPS as I keep it in the cubby down in front of my shifter, and if needed, the distance to turn window in the bottom right is pretty **** accurate to like 20 ft or so.

Buddy has a tom-tom and does a good job.

I really want to get one, but kiddies come first.
